Design story

The Udaipur sofa is built around contrast: the dense, warm grain of teak against the open, breathable weave of natural cane. At 72 inches long, 28 inches deep and 28 inches high, it holds a low, clean profile for the living room that prefers architecture to clutter.

Every frame is shaped by artisan hands in Jaipur. The teak is hand-carved and joined with sculptural joinery, then finished with an artisanal polish that deepens the wood to a rich Dark Walnut. Natural cane adds texture and lets light and air move through the piece, so the sofa feels considered rather than heavy.

Teak is chosen for its density, natural oils and long service life, qualities that matter in a sofa built for years of daily use. Performance-fabric cushions add comfort and stand up to everyday living.

Place it against a lime-washed wall with a jute rug and a stone-topped coffee table, or let it anchor a Japandi-inspired room of low lamps and ceramics. The cane keeps the silhouette light, so the sofa suits a compact apartment as well as a double-height villa.
