Design story

Sheesham wood doesn't rush. Neither do the craftsmen at Blooming Arts. The Halo Side Table is built the way premium furniture should be — unhurried, intentional, and made entirely by hand in our Jaipur workshop.

The "ring" at its base isn't decorative excess. It's structural poetry — a joinery technique that distributes weight evenly, prevents rocking, and gives this table a silhouette unlike anything mass-produced. You'll recognize it from across the room. Guests will ask where you found it.

The Wood

Sheesham (Dalbergia sissoo) is India's answer to walnut. Dense, interlocked grain. Natural resistance to moisture and termites. A finish that deepens with age rather than deteriorating with use. No two pieces share the same grain pattern, which means the table you receive is, categorically, one of a kind.

The Finish

Hand-applied in a natural finish that lets the wood speak for itself. No synthetic overlays. No uniformity imposed by machines. Just wood, craft, and time.

The Intention
